WordPress has different free plugins. But, too many can spoil the Google rankings by decreasing performance and speed. So it’s always wise to choose a limited number of plugins suited for your needs. Coming to making money online, Adsense is one such program which gives maximum revenue out of all the available ad networks.

WordPress has no default way to add Adsense code to your blog. Some themes like Arthemia provide a way to add some ad sizes to the blog. But in general if you are using any other theme, the solution is to use code and other techie stuff. So for novices, the best and free way to insert Google Adsense ads inside posts and sidebar widgets is using Quick Adsense WordPress plugin.

Quick Adsense is an Ads management WordPress plugin. It offers a quicker & flexible way to insert Adsense or any Ads code into a blog post. Besides, it can randomly place the Ads anywhere within a post. It comes with a simple setting page, and it does not overwhelm you with complicated customizable options.

How to Insert Adsense Ads inside WordPress ?

First, install the plugin either by downloading from the above link and uploading it WordPress dashboard or by searching from the plugins interface and installing it.

You will find the options for this plugin under Settings in the left pane of your WordPress Dashboard.

Then on the right hand side you see the available options and settings for this plugin. Under Adsense Codes there are some text boxes for you to enter the Adsense ad code. From your Google Adsense account get the ad code and paste it in the text box.

There you have also the option to align the ad. The different options are left, center, right, none. You can also add margin to the ad.

Next under Options you can see Position option. This is where you tell WordPress to insert Google Adsense ads inside post.

The maximum possible ads you can insert inside posts is 10 using this plugin and the ads are numbered as Ads1, Ads2, Ads3 etc. You need to select the Ad number where you posted the Google Adsense code earlier in Quick Adsense options. You can also display ads in the middle of the post using the corresponding option.  Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the settings page.

Voila! You just finished inserting ads inside a single WordPress post. You do not need to do anything else. This will place your ads inside blog posts automatically for every single post without tickling with the WordPress code.

Other Options :

If you observe the other options on this settings page, there are several more things you can do. You can place ads after some particular paragraph, after an image by number, after the “more” tag, beginning of post, end of post etc.

You can also select the type of web pages of your site on which you can display these ads. You can display on Homepage, archives, categories, tags, disable ads on Home page altogether etc.

My Conclusion :

I am using this plugin on both of my blogs – pallareviews.com and softreadwrite.com for almost 6 months. Till now, I didn’t find any problem with this plugin. And the main advantage of this plugin is its simplicity. If you just want to change the placement of the ad from, after 1st paragraph to 3rd paragraph, the solution is simple. You just need to change the number of the paragraph in the settings page. Similarly, if you need to change from 300×250 to 300×600 size ad, you just need to replace the ad code. The flexibility with this plugin is plenty.
